Whites on warpath against “Indian” sports logos (that Indians don't find offensive)

I’m a Leafs fan but I'm with those who think the Blackhawks jersey is the best NHL sweater ever. It’s majestic and powerful but progressives think it’s insulting to natives so various school boards are on the warpath against native nicknames and icons.

Logos have been axed and names have been changed but that isn’t quite enough for some who worry about sportswear that might be offensive to First Nations members.

They’ll try “raising awareness” first hoping students will voluntarily abandon paraphernalia with native nicknames and logos but if that doesn’t work, they’ll go for an outright ban.

Back in February, the Equity Committee of the Toronto District School Board told Ontario Education Minister Liz Sandals:

“The use of pejorative indigenous names, logos and mascots is both an exploitation of indigenous cultural, spiritual and intellectual identity, and in many cases, a racist misrepresentation of that identity.”

poll commissioned by the Washington Post on the Redskins name found almost 90% of the random sample of 504 Native Americans said it doesn't bother them.

If the vast majority of natives don’t have a problem with logos and monikers, who does?

SJW’s useless minds always try to find a cause to defend an excuse to intimidate, to destroy our tradition and establishment, and medias support them.

So, has one parent had the guts to call their kids’ school and say, "when you start buying my kids *&^%$#g clothes, that’s when you’ll have the right to decide what logos they should wear". No, eh? But silly me, this is Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where parents won’t act like responsible, thinking adults ….so there’s not much chance this kind of nonsense will stop.

NCAA went after the Fighting Sioux but I guess the Fighting Irish is okay.
