Allow me to introduce you to the Teddy Awards.
Today, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation held an award ceremony for wasteful government spenders.
The Teddy Awards are named in honour of Ted Weatherill, a former bureaucrat who once spent $700 on a lunch for two and stuck taxpayers with the bill.
The awards are given out on the municipal, provincial and federal level and there's also a lifetime achievement award.
I give my take on the winners and how taxpayers like you end up getting screwed.
