Why are women so fat?

Women are always complaining about how hard it is to lose weight, but they need to look in the mirror. They make a lot of excuses when all they need to do is burn more calories than they take in. It's science.


And we men don't help because we let them get away with this.

The calorie theory has been rightly thrown out ages ago. You can eat a low calorie diet and get plenty of exercise, but if you are missing certain nutrients, fat will not be burned.

Women like chocolate, ice cream and cookies. It’s in their genes. I see so many women who are either obese or heading in that direction. And they are young too. I remember the 60s and 70s … very women had metabolic issues or glandular issues … I wonder how that genetic defect spread to quickly.

Social media and computers are also big contributors. It’s about being mature and wanting a good healthy body. Nothing good comes easy and we ain’t buying the excuses.

Fat chicks are NOT happy chicks.

This is one of the least scientific/accurate articles on fat loss or fat retention… Women please ignore this video… A more effective approach to helping woman loose weight would be encouragement rather then shaming them. Or perhaps layout a plan for women to follow that can help them reduce there calories and encourage them to go to the gym. My wife is currently pregnant and if there is one thing i know it’s she needs support, encouragement and help. Not this BS…

Here are a few things that may actually help someone looking to get into shape…

While one of the keys to losing weight is burning more then you ingest (calories/carbs) a lot of factors play in to that scenario. Not just for woman but men as well. Woman aren’t fat because we aren’t aloud to criticize. A few factors that are play into fat and water retention. (sleep, stress, diet, emotions, ailments, amount of fluids, sodium) etc. Wanna loose water weight? (hint: drink more water) Your body stores less water when it knows it’s going to be getting more. This also means cut out carbonated beverages, beverages with sugar and alcohol…

Women have a harder time gaining muscle as they do not naturally produce the same type of hormones (testosterone). Testosterone (naturally produced in men at a much higher level) is key for building muscle. Woman in general cannot achieve the same physique as men (with that said i know a few girls that could kick most guys a$$’s).

And it is important to differentiate between being “skinny” and being “healthy”. The body is designed to carry a normal amount of body fat in many cases the image the media pushes for women is unattainable and very unhealthy.  You can search and see a diagram that shows 5 or so women that weigh the exact same amount each with a different build and body type. Just because one woman looks good at 145lbs doesn’t mean that’s the ideal weight for the next.

I workout about 5 days a week and my wife (who is currently carrying our child) tries for 3 days a week. There is always time for the gym you just have to make time. Diets are ok eating plans are better. Go to 6 small meals a day get lots of protein and fibre. Try to reduce fats and sugars stay away from white anything (bread etc) whole grains and brown rice are your new friend. Try doing fasted cardio in the morning and a gym session in the evening. There is nothing wrong with stocking up food from trader joes but don’t eat it all at once, small consistent meals will keep your metabolic rate steady through the day and will help curb your hunger.

Remember to work the large muscle groups, combining weight training with cardio is the best way to burn fat and get smooth looking physique. You won’t look “BULKY” the fact of the matter is without high levels of testosterone you can’t get too bulky. If it was easy to get too bulky ever man on the planet would look like Arnold, its just not possible. The best part is if you feel like you get to muscular start doing more cardio and less weights it’ll go away… I highly recommend anyone looking to loos weight or gain muscle etc goes to www.bodybuilding.com and build a profile. I’m not affiliated with that site what so ever but it can be really helpful for finding articles on food or workout plans as well as tracking your progress.

Quick overview of getting into shape:
- Reduce stress
- Get ample Sleep
- Make a meal plan (and stick to it)
- Make working out a priority
– Fasted cardio in the morning is my favourite for getting lean (run before you eat)
– Gym session in the afternoon to work the muscle groups
- Improve your overall quality of life by staying positive
- Find someone to join you on the journey it’s always easier with support

Do not expect to be skinny in a week just because you ate well and went to the gym. Stay hard at it and keep positive, results will come if you are consistent. And as always never listen to someone in the media who talks about health or body issues. Especially when they looks like the only form of exercise they get is running there mouth or cross fit ;)

Ok I just had to comment on this.Gavin the "calories in calories out "paradigm has been debunked.the reason people are fat is because of metabolic syndrome..Not because they don’t move enough.
Do some research before making such wild unscientific statements.Being fat is the body’s reaction to your food choices( too many carbohydrates) and lack of exercise has very little to do with losing weight.

Nice brisk walks and reducing my caloric intake is working wonders for me. If the exercise is too vigorous I will get too hungry and eat the wrong stuff. Once I’m down near to what I want to be, then I will turn it up.

I would like to add some observations that I’ve seen. Fat women ALWAYS wear long sweaters so they can pull them down over their fat asses. ( like we can’t tell your fat when your sweater is over your hippo ass). Fat women are the ones who HATE and loath thin women who stay in shape. Guys see another guy who’s in shape and they don’t even notice. He’s just another guy. If a woman goes on a diet and decides to try to get into shape she tells no one. Guys tell everyone and this motivates them because they don’t want their buddies calling them out on not completing the diet. Women on the other hand set themselves for failure by not COMMITTING to the diet by keeping it a secret. Fat people snack way too much, they just can’t help themselves, they walk by a plate of whatever and their hand automatically grabs something and goes straight to their mouth. ZERO CONTROL!! Fat people come home from a hard day holding down the office chair and they are too drained for anything physical so they eat dinner and watch some tv. These shows usually consist of such mind stressing things as Survivor or The Amazing Race which gets their blood pumping a bit so they are ready for a little snack before hitting the hay. And don’t forget about that Latte each day that is loaded with cream and calories. Plus it costs 5-8 bucks a day. Go for a walk instead and save the money. I’ve always noticed that when I go to any event anywhere where the kids are playing sports I see the women sitting and the men standing. You burn more calories standing than you do sitting. GET OFF YOUR FAT ASS!!!!! P.S. If you want bigger boobs try wiping toilet paper between your tits, look what it did for your ass.

I have been a fat @ss and now am not. THANK GOD. It’s amazing how much better it feels to be skinny.

The hardest part is the beginning, when it seems like you’re suffering for nothing. Losing weight is all about having a disciplined mind and managing the uncomfortable feelings that come up.

I think we should fat shame people. Living unhealthy lives in obese bodies is not good for anyone no matter how beautiful your face is or fashionable your clothes are.

Fat people are selfish people with low self-esteems. Get off the couch, get out of your car and get some fresh air. Exercise = Happiness and improved quality of life.

My biggest pet peeve is that an XS (my size) is the same price as an XXL. Small people are paying the same price for less fabric!! Imagine if retail prices were adjusted for the amount of fabric your clothing is made of. I imagine a lot of fat, poor people would have to pay up or loose the weight.

I have to admit , women are definitely more flexible. They can actually turn their upper bodies 180 degrees and look at their own asses, incredible! I’ve seen my wife do it !

Women aren’t thinkers – Women are anxiety basket cases using excuses like worry.

And if you challenge a woman, she becomes a screaming, judging freak show that is void of caring about any truths.

There is far too much muffin top women out there – when loose clothes fatty bitches – no one wants to see your rolls packed into tight clothes.

And those 4-7 voices in your head ??? Yes women, that’s the anxiety that is mentioned above.
