Star NDP candidate Linda McQuaig says that "a lot of the oil sands oil may have to stay in the ground if we're going to meet our climate change targets."
And remember: Mulcair has already said McQuaig will be a cabinet minister if he is elected PM. That's pretty scary.
(McQuaig only hates Canadian ethical oil, mind you; maybe you've seen that picture of her smiling and shaking hands with her hero, dictator Hugo Chavez, who she called a saint.)
So why hasn't Mulcair corrected her yet?
Because the NDP (and the Liberals) hate the pipelines.
For evidence, just look at what they've already done in Alberta.
