Black Lives Matter is an international movement focused on systematic racism, even though there is no law, no court case, and not a shred of evidence justifying their existence.
We can have a conversation about the militarization of the police, the practice of carding, and police misconduct, in general.
But is there a nationwide conspiracy, an effort to victimize and single-out African-Americans? No.
The reality is that violent crime in the African-American community is the problem.
In the last 35 years, 345,000 blacks were killed by other blacks in America.
Another common justification for BLM’s existence is the rate of unarmed deaths by police.
The argument goes: Unarmed blacks are disproportionately killed. In their mind, “unarmed” means (a) they could have been restrained without using deadly force, or (b) they were innocent.
The term “unarmed,” though, just means you don’t have a gun.
It doesn’t mean they’re innocent. It doesn’t mean cops could have restrained them without using deadly force.
Maybe the perpetrator was using another type of weapon. I'll give you some real life examples...
Black Lives Matter creates social unrest and resentment.
We’ve seen it explode in America but, trust me, this ideology is encroaching on other countries, even countries with very low crimes rates and, thus, very low rates of police brutality like Canada.
Sadly, thanks to billionaire donors like George Soros and giant political supporters like Hillary Clinton, it’s probably not going away time soon.
Still, we must intellectually fight it.
If we don’t, well, there goes our once great civilization.
