Why 6,928,514 Canadians are voting Liberals?? because they are done with Harper and his lies and his controlling nature… it’s time for change and we just got it… CONGRATS!!!!

P.S: AB & SK it’s time to join rest of the nation instead of living in old times. Conservatives have you just like religions control their followers: WITH FEAR……

I voted for the Conservatives. I did not vote Liberal;
- Because of their proposed cap and trade system that is the same system that has been tried and abandoned in many other countries around the world because it drives up the cost of living and drives away jobs.

- Because the Liberals have declared that they will run deficits for at least ten years. It will be our children’s children who will have to pay the piper and will be enslaved to high taxes for decades.

- Because of their intention to flood the country with tens of thousands of immigrants who have not been vetted by the government in an attempt to keep terrorism from our shores.

- Because of Trudeau’s intention to allow tens of thousands of muslims into our country despite what has happened to England, France, Germany, Holland, Denmark and Norway. With increased muslim populations comes increased muslim inspired violence.

- Because the Liberal’s proposed anti-carbon, anti-oil policies will close down the ‘oil patch’, bankrupt Alberta and drive the oil industry out of Canada and possibly ignite the fire storm of western separatism for the final time.

- Because of the Liberals support of everything green, including the lie of ‘man made global warming’ and will further hobble Canada’s industrial base through restrictive and radically dangerous green legislation.

- Because of the endemic corruption of the Liberal party, last clearly illustrated by the email sent from a senior member of the election team detailing how the system can be short circuited in order to in order to gain advantage. The question of what Trudeau knew about this issue and when he knew it remains to be seen.

- Because nobody really knows who is in control of the Liberal party. Clearly Trudeau is too stupid to be a real leader so the strings are being pulled by some, as yet, unknown person or persons.

- Because the stated policies and intentions of the Liberal party will destroy Canada’s reputation abroad as a strong, determined, democratic nation that can be depended on to put force to words and will ultimately defame our military and devalue all that these forces have accomplished and all the lives sacrificed in doing so.

With this stumbling, bumbling, not too bright rich man’s son as Prime Minister our beloved country will be in a very sorry state and left staring down the bottomless hole of socialism.

Conservatives refuse to suck -— and we don’t bend our knees for a Paedophile.

Peter N. My resumes go from BC -Sask. Problem is every one has 200 competitors. Some more qualified. Some jobs I’m overqualified. I can last a few more months, but I’ll never be able to receive social assistance. Now I see Motley wants to throw more money at FN

People with functioning brains say: Don’t call yourself a Canadian patriot and vote for a marijuana-loving, dictatorship-loving Potboy for Prime Minister, and don’t vote for a party that would make someone like him its leader.

If by welfare you mean salary, then yes – I get paid quite a bit from the work that I do to live where I live.

You got me beat. I only have 29 resumes out there in 30 days. Running out in Alberta. Have to start looking in Sask.

I should have said that the world will know we have become a nation of idiots if Potboy becomes PM. We weren’t always. Up until now, there was at least a large enough plurality of people with common sense to vote Conservative.

Canada will be the laughing stock of the world if Justin Trudeau becomes Prime Minister. No one will henceforth take anything we have to say seriously on the international stage. They will know we are a nation of idiots.

“As a Libertarian, I just cannot justify this Orwellian legislation.”

If the loss of freedoms bother you then might I recommend buckling your seat belt tightly should either Trudeau or Muclair win for Canada will be in for a very bumpy ride (all downhill), far more freedoms and rights will be striped if either one of those two hit the jackpot tonight. (see Ontario for a multitude of examples including McGuinty’s secret law passed during the G20 that gave police more power, attached are but 3 examples: http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2011/05/06/mcguinty_wont_apologize_for_g20_secret_law_rejects_public_inquiry.html http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/mcguinty-mum-on-expanded-g20-police-powers-1.927879 http://www.torontosun.com/2013/08/16/this-blows-growing-list-of-ontario-municipalities-declare-unwilling-hosts-to-wind-turbines).

I feel so bad for you guys who have lost your jobs because of the brain-dead NDP in Alberta, and also for the many Ontarians who have lost their jobs because of the brain-dead Liberals in that province. And the worst of it is, whatever remaining jobs might be for the taking in other provinces will soon be gone if Potboy becomes PM.

If that happens, Canada will be the laughing stock of the world. We will be known as a country of either dope smokers, or just dopes, or both. They will judge us by the individual we made our Prime Minister. Oh, the shame!

Canadians, it’s not too late. If you haven’t voted yet, you can still return Canada’s respected Oxford-trained economist Prime Minister, Stephen Harper. Yes, he has his imperfections, but he has kept the economy humming and taxes low in this country, while south of the border, Obozo has doubled the U.S. federal debt to 20 trillion dollars.

Get out and vote for the Conservative Party and give Stephen Harper another term. He has earned it, and you will be infinitely better off for giving him another four years to make Canadians more wealthy and secure.

Absolutely! Couldn’t be said any better!

Just think of it, we could all be suddenly plunged into that dreaded nightmare – tomorrow – it just doesn’t seem possible that a reality as ugly as that could be upon us all…tomorrow could be the beginning of the end for Canada and Canadians. It’s frightening to consider how much is really at stake in this election, and what could be lost.
Or PM Harper could get another majority.
Life is a bitch sometimes…

I hope the polls are correct, because over the last few years everyone they predicted to win have lost.
I also voted conservative, for all the reasons Ezra just listed, it was complete and a very rational endorsements.

David what do you find Orwellian about C51? Many of the things inC51 are necessary to fight the evolving threats to country.

I feel for you guys in Alberta.

While I sympathize with conservative values, it was Bill C-51 that opened my eyes as to just how fragile our freedoms really are. As a Libertarian, I just cannot justify this Orwellian legislation.

Next election? Only if Mr. Harper wins. The other two will turn Canada into a dictatorship and probably eliminate democracy. It took 20 years to dig out of the deficit PET put us into. Does anyone really want to go through that again?

Frightening thoughts but I must agree. Look at what McGuinty (a Liberal) did during the G20, he passed a secret law giving the police more power. Apparently Liberals prefer a dictatorship because I don’t remember too much complaining when it was found out that McGuinty had passed that secret law.

Jimmy said, “If by slum you mean one of the most wealthiest parts in all of Canada, then yes – I live in a slum.”

Wow, Welfare and you other two government cheques must pay quite a bit. Time to review the welfare system!!
