Here's why the RCMP's new Muslim hijab uniform is unCanadian -- and anti-woman

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

How would you feel if you were coming to Canada from some sharia hell-hole, and the first thing you saw was a hijab on a cop?

Well, according to documents leaked exclusively to us at The Rebel, that might be happening very soon.

These documents say the Royal Canadian Mounted Police are bringing in a new women’s police uniform featuring a Muslim hijab.

So in other words, the RCMP now endorses sexism.

Because the Muslim hijab suggests women must be covered in public, and that any women who aren't covered in public are haram — that is, dirty.

That’s what a hijab means — unlike non-hijabbed women, they’re halal, or clean.

This is too far. This isn’t Canada.

In Canada, we’re all equal before the law. The hijab isn’t even a religious symbol. It’s a political symbol. We don't allow police to wear political party buttons, do we?

We need to fight back.

What a pathetic clump of politically correct cowards we have become! Soon, we will be ruled by Sharia law. We are too stupid and too gutless to resist.

If I got pulled over by what I thought was a COP, and some huge Black mama wearing a face mask , comes and starts to get uppitty and tells me what to DO——— and rips off my CROSS——- I might just get a wee bit peeved.

I have never subscribed to organized religion, but have always identified as a Christian. I have never in my life, up until this year worn a cross. I do now, for all to see.

This is truly insane & MUST BE STOPPED NOW. I used to think so highly of the RCMP but as time goes by not so much anymore. A hijab wearing female cop in Canada is totally out of the question. The hijab is not a religious requirement & whoever came up with this cocamamy idea ought to have their head examined. STOP PANDERING TO ISLAM, THIS IS CANADA. I am sick & tired of the lefty do gooders always trying to change our laws & traditions & insulting us so they can please new immigrants who have barely set forth on Canadian soil. I have signed the petition & sent it to all my address book.

The left brought religion into the conversation by allowing this to continue, so I would appeal to all Christians including police, firefighters, ems, and so on to wear a cross pin on their uniforms and I shall do the same.

Cathy, as long as people continue to speak of the oppressive body coverings dictated by Shariah law, as a religious right, the simple truth that it is nothing more than a political symbol, will forever be ignored. Shariah law and all that it entails is the antithesis of the Queens law. It is not a religious issue, no matter how many times it is misrepresented as such. I don’t think there is much to complain about with Sikh’s. They assimilate, don’t wish to kill us or absorb our country, and don’t expect to follow any other law in Canada but the Queen’s law. They don’t oppress their women, kill gays or expect everyone to convert or die. The universal goal of a Sikh is to have no hate or animosity to any person, regardless of factors like race, caste, color, creed, gender, or sexuality. From what I understand, women sometimes choose to wear a loose head scarf, but are not forced to. If Sikh men wish to wear a turban I have no problem with it. The hijab, niqab, and burka are political symbols of control and oppression, and having female Muslim officers wearing them in our police force is a political statement. Shariah creep. Shariah full blown, coming to a town near you, hell its coming to your own neighbourhood.

Cathy Rochford;
A Hijab is not a symbol of religion. The Quran dose not state that a woman has to ware head covering.
commented 2016-01-13 18:35:11 -0500
The head covering dose not worry me, to much, it is the fact that these people are going to be permitted to join the Police Force at all, that I find troublesome.

A Muslim with a Gun is a dangerous combination and should be avoided at all costs. I know Trudeau is a brick short of a load but the RCMP should know better.

All it needs is for one Imam to tell all these Islamic RCMP Officers, ‘At exactly 12 noon, you will take out your hand gun and kill everyone in sight’. These Wing Nuts will obey an Imam and there will be a lot of dead people laying around. This all because we have a mentally unbalanced idiot for a Prime Minister.

What a crock of BS.

Of course it’s wrong to have hijab wearing police for many reasons. One big reason is that all non-muslims are not allowed to wear any symbols of their religions. Based on this alone, hijabs should be banned. If these women want to be police bad enough they wouldn’t care about a hijab. If they care more about their stinking hijab than being a police then they aren’t suited for the job, period, fire them all. This is just another display of the underhanded political BS by muslim terrorists to get sharia law into Canada. I’m sure they could care less about the hijab (just saying it makes me angry). This sickening repulsive activity doesn’t surprise me though coming from the rcmp. The Sikhs got to wear their turbans and carry a long sword years back. And now look at the scraggy bearded sikh defense minister with his outlandish looking turban. What country do we live in again?

J Kay, I think the answer, to this ridicules move, is to have pass a bill in parliament forbidding any religious statement in Federal work places. See you in 4 year…
Until then, I will retaliate by wearing my traditional Pastafarian garments which include an eye patch, black hardcover, and of course my beloved parrot.

A dare to all you Pastafarian officers out there. ;)

Yannie Znayew blurted: “Here’s how hypocritical Levant is about women’s rights. He pays lip service to it and has a history of attacking feminists.” Yannie, or is that Gordo?, stick with the topic at hand or get lost. Peddle your BS on the CBC!

My daughter is a cop with a city force . I have a friend who retired from the RCMP . When my daughter asked my friend for advice about joining the RCMP , his advice was " don’t". He told her the RCMP had changed from an autonomous police force to a federal bureaucracy controlled by politically correct mandarins in Ottawa who had made the RCMP an embarrassing shell of it’s once proud organization. In the ’80’s it threw out the time honoured tradition of hiring the best men for the job and mandated that white men would be at the bottom of the hiring list regardless of ability. It changed the rules so that native recruits did not have to write exams since exams were not part of their culture so all they had to do was attend class to pass. Physical requirements for women were lowered to a point where today there are dozens of examples of female versions of Chief Wiggims in Homer Simpsons town of Springfield.
Knowing the RCMP , this does not surprise me . It probably came from the PMO’s office ( who get his advise from the 13 mosques in his constituency ).

Lieberals are moving fast to make Canada an Islamist State! The symbolism is damning on so many levels! Seems perhaps, the RCMP will become Canada’s Sharia enforcers? This is a huge blow to anyone who still had some respect for police forces in this country! More proof as well that there are no real “Liberals” left, only radicals! This will not end well for ordinary Canadians! B.T.W., the link for the petition failed and was inaccessible.

A political statement, not religious. Its a whole lot more than just a head scarf, and any Canadian woman who agrees to wear one needs to ask herself why she came to Canada or loves the Canada she was born into in the first. Why would we want our police force to blatantly advocate for an alternative law not the Queens law In Canada. Why would any woman want to wear such a symbol of oppression. Why should Canadian citizens accept this. Another step closer to the edge.

Canada’s pop is 3% Muslim to date, and look at the concessions to Islamic law. How long do you think it will take to reach 7% ,the percentage which irrevocably tips the demographic of the entire country. Will all women have to wear them? What is next. I don’t accept this Shariah creep, and never will. Ask Britain, and the other countries already ruined, how its working for them. This is ridiculous.

A political statement, NOT religious, that is the difference.

I think this time Ezra is exaggerating – I mean the oppression and all. It’s just a headscarf. Also, if a Jew would decide to wear a yarmulke on the job – should he be prevented from that? Jewish women are also required to cover their heads (hat or scarf – it doesn’t matter).
Your comments show you are not part of the solution, you are indeed THE problem.

Sharia in any way, shape or form is unacceptable, including the thing sitting in the pm’s chair.

Try to imagine,if you will, what will happen if an obviously Muslim woman tries to arresta Muslim man.

R G, normally Muslim political groups work on changing our way of life, to be more Sharia-complaint. Their idea is to chip away at our institutions, a little at a time. A woman in Ontario, sues the government so she can wear her niqab. A woman in Quebec sues to be allowed to wear her headscarf in court. So, on it goes. The idea is for us to get used to submitting to what Islam demands.

I’m 200% for separation of Religion and state as any other person still holding their common sense, but let me play the devil’s advocate for a minute.
1. Is this new garment forced on secular female officers, or did this start as a request from Muslim FEMALE officers wanting to wear it on the job?
I stress female to ensure this didn’t come from any community leader or other Muslim male officers.
2. What is the case with Sikh officers? Are they allowed a special head covering?
I understand where this rejection is coming from, but if we allow it with officers from one religion, we really don’t have a leg to stand on when another, from a different religion asks for similar treatment.

Now…if an officer give different treatment not based on the law of the land, that’s a whole different discussion.

Unfortunately, we opened this can of worms by allowing the wearing of a turban while in uniform. That was not right either. Religious symbols have no right being openly displayed while in uniform… that’s why it’s called a uniform. If I displayed a cross on the outside of my uniform, I would be disciplined.

It’s absolutely imperative that all aspects of shariah law are illegalized.

Why do foreign cultures trump our own? Because the traitorous left wants to take our country away and give it to foreign minorities who have never before had anything to do with this country. These traitors’ conspiracy is happening right on schedule one move at a time.

It is a done deal folks

No sense getting wrapped around the axles

Management – the people who should care – do not give a damn what the public thinks

It all boils down to the gay boy with nice hair

What he wants he will get

It will be interesting to see if the Female Officers agreed to this sexist move by the RCMP? That sounds like a Muslim suggestion? GOD HELP US!!
