Wildrose MLA Fildebrandt vindicated: Wynne admits hydro rates “urgent issue”

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne says she’s worried about electricity costs in Ontario, calling the crushing energy rates an urgent issue. They can't be that urgent to her, the opposition has been warning her about them for years.

The Ontario Liberals Green Energy Strategy adopted an early phase out of cheap, reliable coal fired electricity generation that plunged many Ontario families into energy poverty. Some 60,000 Ontario households had their power disconnected for non payment. It's a crisis.

The same crisis is headed to Alberta. Premier Rachel Notley is phasing out coal fired electricity and dropping a carbon tax on Albertans that will increase the costs of everything we buy.

If only someone had tried to warn both Rachel Notley and Kathleen Wynne about what their green energy pursuits would mean for citizens of their respective provinces.

Oh wait. Someone did.

Watch my video to see Wildrose shadow Minister of Finance Derek Fildebrandt lay it all out for Notley and Wynne in question period on the very day Wynne was in the Alberta Legislature gallery. It's beautiful.

Fildebrandt was raked over the coals by the left for the truth he told but now it looks like even Kathleen Wynne would have to admit he was right.

Fildebrandt deserves to shout “I told ya so”. But he won't.

With all the human suffering that energy poverty will bring to the people of Ontario now and the people of Alberta later, I bet this is one time Fildebrandt wishes he was wrong.

The western provinces of Canada should now be considering more than ever separation from the east and lower Canada..
With full spectrum agriculture and full spectrum logging and development and energy we have everything that the world needs and with our present governments we have everything that we don’t need..
As a Western Canadian and a citizen of Alberta I am concerned for the future of this country in the hands of “professional politicians” who have exhibited time after time after time their absolute inability to balance their own checkbook let alone run a province or country.
Time is running very short for the west to save itself from a socialist accident by election.
I know that there is enough of us in four provinces that are mainstream families and people whose goals and ideologies differ greatly then the direction that this country is headed but the biggest problem is to find people that have the time and are willing to make the sacrifices required to save ourselves.
If anybody has any ideas on how to start this by getting a few people under the same roof to discuss and expand ideas that would inspire separation from the tyranny of our present governments I would be glad to donate my time and some resources to the movement.

Robert Hewgill commented -“We’ve known for years that these alternative energy scams were a failure and a pipeline into the taxpayers pocket”

The “green energy” biz is provably a left wing patronage plumb. The CEOs and corporate wigglers running these sleazy wind far cons are the number one public trough feeders and patronage clients of klepto-left regimes all over the free world.

Do a bit of investigation on the corporate entities who are getting fat on Wynn’s green energy debacle – they are government-connected and major party donors.

Having sleepless nights from here on in Rachel?
You read the news.
Wynne is 16%. She’ll drop to below 10 before it stops.
And Rachel you will be just a few months after, then both of you can toast your Socialist LEAD ideology goodbye.

You know politics isn’t as hard as most people think. But pride interferes with reasonable thought.

Nothing Wynne or Notely are implementing are new ideas. All they have do is gauge their ideas against those where other jurisdictions have already put into in place. Check the results. Nothing Notely’s gang is implementing has worked elsewhere. And Wynne, same thing.
I just hope the scar on the rumps of all those Albertans who voted for Nutley is permanent and they will never vote Socialism again.

If Brown gets in next time, what ? will he do?
Wynne will have Ontario in such a hole, there will be no way to recover without paying an even bigger price.
I think everyone in Ontario should be required to have a C or and L beside their house address. Then we’d know who exactly got us into this mess.

Why the sudden change of heart? Oh yeah , her ratings are down. Of course if she gets voted in again she will have another change of heart.

Famine, wars, poverty, disease, drought. I read this in history. But the ndp could control it through taxes? 984 days left. I’m rolling the dice for the third time with 3 that will vote in my house. Wildrose is full of my friends. I won’t name them all

We’ve known for years that these alternative energy scams were a failure and a pipeline into the taxpayers pocket, while at the same time destroying real jobs and economies.

Both Rachael and Lurch should have to eat crow. I guess that would be a bit cannibalistic though. That dramatic adventure Nothead took us on in the legislature was nothing short of vomit inducing. I used to sit back and watch Ontario’s follies over the past several years, even with a tad of glee. Then the life altering experience of an ndp government in Alberta was thrust upon us. Now I have empathy for the suffering citizens of both provinces, except for the enablers and stunned lefty voters who put these shit shows in power. Ontario is already in a stage 3 cancer like scenario, Alberta just diagnosed. I guess we in Alberta can look into our bleak future by observing Ontario’s crash and burn. Thanks so much to the greasy unions, teachers, nurses and bureaucratic scum that put these fools in power. Ideology trumps all. They live in fantasy, but the bogey man is on the move. If Ontario goes quickly, Alberta may be saved. Civil unrest sure to follow. War looms any way, hairdoo" just practiced with another firecracker in North Korea’

Wynn’s concern over the energy poverty low income people in Ontario find themselves in is just so much crocodile tears, seeing she id directly responsible for moving the costs of heating a home in winter out of the reach of many seiors and single parent homes.

Here’s another tip the Rebel investigators can run down – I’ve been hearing from acquaintances that Ontario is now charging those who heat with fuel for inspection certificates for fuel burning furnaces while doing no such thing with electric furnace homes. How many seniors can spread out a $500 “safety/efficiency” certification upgrade of their furnace to keep receiving fuel delivery this winter?

Energy cost pillaging has been a rotten frikking racket for this regime and I hope it backlashes on this foul bitch in the form of a citizens prosecution.

This is exactly why I don’t really know who to vote for…. Wildrose or PC? The progressive parts of both parties disgust me. You have the Wildrose who were quick to throw Fildebrant under the bus for calling out the stupidity of both Wynne and Notley, instead of having a pair and standing with him. Then you have the PCs who will destroy themselves instead of allowing Jason a fair run at leadership. I really think it is time to start fresh with fiscal conservatism at the core and progressive ideology only given the time of day when there is benefit for all based on impartial science using proper method. If it we me the first thing I would do is bring in the ability to get rid of me… I.E. referendums on major changes to policy.

Should come as no surprise that Fildebrandt was raked over the coals by the left for the truth. Disconcerting, however, was that even his own party did.

The only thing wynne is worried about is the next election which should see her off to the dump where she belongs. The most pitiful thing about Derek Fildebrandts excellent and truthful statements is that the WR party leader, Brian Jean, flopped to the fetal position and apologized to the hag.

These krazy far-left enviro-fascists are destroying the economy and the country . . . Notley is a certifiable loon and Wynne is not qualified for dog catcher !
Even Germany today is building Coal Fired Generating plants . . .
Canada, thanks to the uninformed electorate, is in the hands of the incompetent today . . . No Pipelines, No CNG, No Jobs and a dismal future !
We are ALL Ontar-i-owe now ! ! !

January 2 2017 will mark the largest tire fire at the Alberta legislation building, that’s the only way that poorer Albertans will be able to stay warm this winter. So now is the time to stock up on old tires and bring them to the capital come January 2nd. Somebody bring some diesel also, cause them suckers are hard to light.

Whinny’s approval rating in Ontario is running at 16%. The economic boom from her disasterous green energy policy never materialized. Ontario is left with over 300 billion in debt and one of the highest electricity rates in North America.

Wynne cares?? think again! She just lost a seat which she arrogantly believed she would have and now that the election is only 2 years off, she is going to make certain she gets this back and then once elected again she will continue to rape, pillage, abuse, exploit and bankrupt us all. Canadians – or in this case, ONtarians, NEVER LEARN!!!!
