In Minsk, Belarus, a teenager with a hammer and a chainsaw, staged a random attack at a mall, attacking anyone he could. One woman was decapitated, others are in hospital.
A WOMAN is reported to have been beheaded after a teenager armed with a chainsaw went on the rampage at a shopping centre.
The 18-year-old, who was also carrying a hammer, carried out the horrific attack at the Evropa shopping centre in Minsk, Belarus.
Terrified eyewitnesses claimed the youngster wore a mask as he burst into the busy mall through a side entrance.
Hundreds of people were in the centre at the time of the attack. [...]
The newspaper Belta claims a 46-year-old woman who sustained injuries is currently being treated at a local hospital.
A hospital spokesman said: "The patient received two blows with an axe in the chest and shoulder.
"She is being examined and undergoing treatment."
In keeping with the modern trend in journalism, the article goes to some lengths to avoid giving any information about the attacker, and offers no eye or ear witness accounts or other details about him other than his age.
But one might safely say that if it was not a Muslim waging jihad, the normalization of these kinds of attacks as well as decapitations by Islamic jihad, must be a factor as to why an otherwise unstable person, who is not a Muslim, may chose to act in this fashion.
