Now, this Yale scholar is tweeting about how life in Central Asia and Eastern Europe was better under the Soviets.

Henry Wysmulek the only rational explanation i can think of is that they think they will be a person of importance or in some position of power under a Communist government even though they will be peons like everyone else because they are too blind to see that under Communism the bloodiest and most ruthless rise to power.

Communists are inhuman filth.

Henry Wysmulek i always wonder that as well, as do many others, they never put their money where their mouth is.

The one thing that really irritates me about brainless twits like her. Is why do they continue to live here, enjoying all the Rights and Freedoms her hated form of society is giving them?
She obviously hasn’t talked to anyone that has managed to escape from the oppression of her favorite communism!
Even today we see people risking their lives trying to escape her nirvana and come to the West!
I have yet to see anyone risk their lives to go live in a communist dictatorship!
People like her should read, The God that failed. It’s about intellectuals like her that actually did move to their communist paradise and what they really found there.

She even looks terminally stupid… What wouldn’t I give to have been able to boot her fat ass out on The Road of Bones to Magadan in 1930s or 1940s…..

No I met when I lived in the FSU wanted a return to the Soviet Union. And that was in the immediate spot soviet period when things were really tough. Since then I have heard noting different. It was like a waking from a nightmare. One of my students said it was like living in prehistoric times.

Only a few old die hard Stalinists wanted it back. Mostly because the currency changes wiped out their savings. They preferred security of a tyranny over the uncertainly of freedom. Most of them are long dead now.

The non-Russian republics had no taste for its former “glories”.

Here is a video of the Baltic Republics protesting by forming a human chain across all three countries:

And the famed Vilnius protests to leave the USSR:

I was in Klaipeda when the Russian army left. There was nothing but tears of joy.

But how many of these people she speaks with are imaginary? Saying people think one way doesn’t actually mean they actually do so.
