In the German village of Warburg, we met a Turkish-born Christian nun called Sister Hatune Dogan.
Under her care were many Yazidi refugees, including Yazidi women taken by ISIS as rape slaves.
They did not want to talk with me directly, and I understand. But Sister Hatune told me of the horrors those girls had faced at the hands of the Islamic State.
I knew all this on paper. But it’s different when you meet someone who lived through it. When you read on the Internet that a woman was raped 280 times, it’s appalling. But it is a different feeling when you actually have lunch with them...
The men kept busy renovating the houses that Sister Hatune had purchased in the village. Massive houses that surely held ten people in the past, are now home to only one or two senior citizens, waiting to die. Sister Hatune told us there are only five children in the entire village.
That’s Germany today, with the lowest birthrate in the world. That’s the void into which millions of Muslim migrants are flowing. But in this one little village, it’s not Muslim migrants. It’s refugees fleeing from those same Muslim migrants.
Listening to their stories made me think of how Jews escaped from the Nazis. Both were fleeing from fascists — Nazi fascists 75 years go, Muslim fascists today.
But today, perfidious western democracies, including Canada, are taking in any Muslim migrant at all, but not prioritizing vulnerable minorities like Yazidis. Justin Trudeau even boasted about that.
Starting tomorrow, we’ll show you Danes and Swedes and Germans — and others — who are trying to stop this massive, deliberate demographic shift in Europe, and halt the Islamization of Europe. Some are more successful than others — and some have to live under 24-hour a day police protection from terrorist threats.
