You’re not “plus size” — you're dying

Gavin McInnesArchive

We have over 500,000 obesity deaths a year, but feminists are telling women to “love themselves the way they are” and “embrace their curves” (which is the new name for fat rolls…)

Wait until I tell you what a surgeon just told me.

This fat fad has GOT to stop.

To all of you “plus-sized” women out there, I will say this. I don’t really care what you choose to do with/to yourselves. I’m not in favour of “fat Jihad” any more than I am of Bloomberg-style taxes on “oversized drinks”, government monopolies on alcohol sales, sugar taxes, or the war on smokers. Trying to legislate health via government fiat is, quite simply, fascism.

That being said… don’t expect me to be sexually attracted to you, or to not find you repulsive. Thousands of years of biology and instinct dictate this, despite all of your hectoring.

I might have more sympathy for you if you didn’t expect the God-given right to snag a partner with Brad Pitt’s looks and Elon Musk’s money while you refuse to make the slightest effort to be attractive to others yourself. Hypocrisy much?

Enjoy your Ben and Jerry’s, reality TV, and cats, ladies. I’ll pass.

You may not kick Ashley Graham out of bed for eating crackers …but then again, would you drink her bathwater?

Maurice, I think that’s only fair.
Oops! Sorry for using the four-letter F – word to my elders.

George Dyer, my birthday is the 17th, so respect your elders. If I die three days before you, I still outlive you.

Well you certainly don’t see a lot of obese people in old folks homes. Most might be a bit overweight but not obese.

For the first time in the history of the world our planet has more obese people than hungry people. Either we have not enough people or too much food.
If anyone’s in contact with Christiana Figueres at the Useless Nations, please tell her that.
P.S. Maurice,
I too turn 70 in September (the 21st). Let’s each make an effort to outlive the other.

I’m dying too. I’m 69 years old (turn 70 in Sept. …. if I live that long) and I’m fatter n’ a pregnant hippo. I know I’m not real healthy, but I’m healthier than I have any right to expect to be….. which is evident by the fact that I’m 69 years old. I used to do very physically demanding labour (logging) which kept the weight off. However, when my work became more sedentary (middle management – office), I fail to change my eating habits. No one to blame but myself.
