Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg doubled down on supporting illegal immigrants in an ultra left-wing post:
“I stand with the Dreamers -- the young people brought to our country by their parents. Many have lived here as long as they can remember. Dreamers have a special love for this country because they can't take living here for granted,” Zuckerberg said, refusing to use the word 'illegal'.
“We need a government that protects Dreamers. Today I join business leaders across the country in calling on our President to keep the DACA program in place and protect Dreamers from fear of deportation,” he added, further adding to speculation that Zuckerberg would be considering a political run at some point.
The left-wing CEO even went as far as calling illegal aliens 'immigrants' — an insult to anyone who legally entered the country. In a reply to a comment he wrote:
“The Dreamers who are here on DACA are the hardworking immigrants you believe this country needs.”
The rant came shortly after it was revealed in a study by his own FWD.us group that if an Obama-created amnesty program for illegal immigrants was ended, it would result in the creation of 700,000 American jobs.
As Breitbart reports, the study claims that on average, if Trump were to repeal DACA, 30,000 American job opportunities would open up each month.
FWD.us President Todd Schulte said in a statement that:
“Eliminating DACA would have immediate and severe consequences for not only the 800,000 Dreamers enrolled in the program, but for the millions of Americans who live, work, and study with these young people every single day.”
